Sofija Tovarović joined the Association of Citizens “Why
not” in March 2022, where she performs the function of
executive producer. She is in charge of event production, office
management and project coordination. She has 7 years of relevant
experience in project management, PR and event management
– from concept creation to implementation. Experience in
writing projects and communication strategies she gained at the
BORAM agency, where she worked for 4 years as a communication
and event manager in charge of implementing advocacy campaigns
and initiatives, writing communication plans, production and
organizing events. At the age of 17, she was the president of
the Red Cross Youth Club in Pale.
Through a different projects, she collaborated with numerous
clients, such as: the EU Delegation in BiH, the Office of the EU
Special Representative, UNICEF, UNDP, RYCO, GIZ, IOM, and
non-governmental organizations such as KOMA, ICVA, YIHR, KULT,
Perpetuum Mobile, Rights for all, FSU, JaBiHEU.
She is active in many non-governmental organizations as a
communication expert, project coordinator and trainer on the
topics of public speaking, advocacy initiatives, media
campaigns, stigmatization of marginalized groups and youth
education.
Currently she is a graduate student at the Faculty of Economics
in Sarajevo, majoring in Marketing.
