Adila Softić, Psychologist, European certified psychotherapist of transactional analysis CTA and ECP holder

Born in Zenica, Adila earned her degree as a graduate psychologist from the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo. She obtained a European certificate for transactional analysis psychotherapy in Geneva and has been working at the PH Institute for Addiction Diseases ZDC, Zenica, since the institute was founded in 2005.

Adila is also a contributor at the Institute for Transactional Analysis ICTA in Belgrade and leads a psychological counseling service at Transcom Worldwide d.o.o, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her experience includes a role as an Expert Associate in Practice at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zenica, with her first work experience being in the pedagogical service of a primary school.

She has been actively involved in the NGO sector, contributing to organizations such as Život (Association of Women with Breast Cancer), Romano Centro, and NGO Karneol. Her professional focus is on psychotherapy with older minors and adults, couples, and groups. She offers both personal and group psychotherapy aimed at personal growth and development, including for psychotherapists under supervision or in training.

Adila is the author and co-author of various professional and scientific papers, publications, and manuals. She is an active participant in a wide range of conferences, congresses, and seminars, and had the honor of serving as the President of the Organizational Committee for the First Congress of Psychotherapists in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Currently, she is the President of the NGO BIHOTA (B&H Organization of Transaction Analysis) and a member of both the European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA) and the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP). She is also a member of the Society of Psychologists in Bosnia and Herzegovina and serves on the Ethics Committee, as well as a member of the Board of the Association of Psychotherapeutic Associations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
