Congress themes

Employing a multidisciplinary, intersectoral, and interdisciplinary approach, our goal is to deepen our understanding of how communication and relationships impact the health and bio-psycho-social well-being of children, adolescents, and families within educational, social, health, and legal frameworks.

The Congress will be organised over four thematic days, allowing for an in-depth exploration of its essential themes and aspects.

The congress will be organized in four thematic days integrating different topics:

  • The interrelation between aggression and empathy
  • Different forms of abuse and neglect and the impact on the personal and society level
  • Transgenerational and intergenerational trauma and the development of the child, family and society
  • Resilience and mentalization
  • Migration, person, and environment
  • Educational, health, social and legal support approaches in the overall development of the child
  • Therapeutic methods and approaches aimed at the growth and development of children, young people and families
  • Ethics of psychotherapy and therapeutic approaches in communication and relationships
  • Examples of good practice, research, and innovative therapeutic interventions

Through plenary lectures, roundtable discussions, workshops, panel presentations, debates, and other interactive sessions, we aim to foster opportunities for collaboration.

The shared goal is to enhance our relationships, understand the reflection of communication and relationships and promote the health and well-being of children, youth and families.
