Prim. Dr. Ranka Kalinić was born in Banja Luka in 1965,
where she completed elementary school, high school and the
Faculty of Medicine. She completed specialization in child
and adolescent psychiatry in Belgrade, as well as education
in psychodynamic psychotherapy of children and youth. Since
2004, she has been employed at the Center for the Protection
of Mental Health in Banja Luka. At the Center, she formed
the first complete team for children and young people that
provides services for prevention, diagnosis, treatment and
medical treatment of disorders in the mental health of
children and young people. She held over 250 educational
lectures and workshops. She participated in a large number
of projects, and id co- author of 4 manuals intended for
parents and children.
